About Us

SAYAMBHARATAA RURAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (Registration No. – 190305874/2018) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life in remote rural areas of West Bengal through education and skill development. Over the past decade, Sayambharataa has implemented a 2-tiered education support system, catering to children from preschool to class 10 in 15 villages under Gohaliara and Tantipara Gram Panchayats of Dubrajpur and Rajnagar blocks in Birbhum district of West Bengal.Since its inception, Sayambharataa has positively impacted around 1500 students, achieving remarkable results such as a 40% reduction in dropouts and a 100% pass rate in secondary examinations since 2019. Notably, the organisation has been able to achieve a significant increase in the number of successful girl students, including those from tribal areas, through continuous field visits, mentoring and family counselling.Sayambharataa RSDF has also played a crucial role in supporting successful students in pursuing various professional careers, including engineering, science, and nursing. Through its holistic approach to education and skill development, Sayambharataa continues to empower rural communities, fostering self-reliance, prosperity, and sustainable development in the region.

Our Team

Sayambharataa Rural Skill Development Foundation has been formed with a mission to effectively deliver its initiatives at the grass roots. In accordance to this objective, it has created a team of highly skilled professionals who can devote time with the organisation to create an effective change.
The Core team consists of the following:

The Trustee Board - a seven member think tank.
The Advisors - Experts in different fields to advice on the guidelines and to evaluate the Trust's performance
